I have noticed tnt 2 has not been clearing past few day's on gt media. Not sure if the frequency has changed for it.

It's changed mate it and tnt 4 both on 11582 H 23000

With Eternet you should be OK Wi-Fi can suffer from being overcrowded by nearby networks and you would have to change the channel.
In Net & Games is PT Connected?

Yeh pt is connected. I’m not sure if it’s just the setup the sat ports use as every other sky sports channels work. It doesn’t even pick up bbc 2 on a blind scan and the tnt channels just still say scramble. Least he will get sky I guess 😭

It has the tnt channels as 10732 when I click on them. Am I right in saying that’s an old/wrong transponder?

Not yet. How do you do this on a viark?

Menu-Installation-Antenna Settings.

Highlight frequencies and select ADD

Then in the popup enter the parameters for the frequency and save.

You will then be able to select it for scanning.

Did we conclude that this lnb was ok , good 20 pages back , was it a hybrid,? Was it all working until recently. Hard to keep going back through all these comments.

Sorry mate never mentioned it. It’s just a communal flat dish which is used for my mate. I should be able to get a pic of it.

You will need to update firmware to mars can get from here

Mars V8UHD_V1.11.11242_11052024

Download and transfer files from the folder to root of your usb and flash box

Once done you then need to find the special dust that makes it clear...make sure its European and not Global ...Ali your best bet for that.

Do we think we may ever get 4K UHD channels on Sat clearing for Football? I was at my father-in-laws house in May and he has an official sub to satellite via SkyQ with UHD channels paid (no doubt costing a small fortune) but the picture quality for live football was spot on.

This was due to a box(hardware) limitation correct? Could there be a situation in the future where they release a new box more ££££ for them and it opens UHD?

We would need a more powerful box .
