Viark VIARK TYPE BOXES

Anyone got any idea how to recover a Viark Sat 4K that is stuck on 'Boot'? Will a manual flash help? Thanks
You might have an issue there as even if you try the usb stick method you need to be able to get into the menu system to search for the usb to select. Just found this with a google search, Thanks to @Ferret.

1 Copy the official firmware to a USB Pen Drive without anything inside (formatted to FAT:32).

2 With the USB placed in the front port, receiver turned off from the power (without connecting the power supply), keep power button pressed and turn power on at plug

3 We wait for an informative progress bar to appear and we release.

4 When the update is finished, the home screen appears again.

I have left the power out for 10 minutes, tried again and its booted but then after a few mins i have lost signal from HDMI. I will try the above method and a new flash. Thanks

Hi guys finally managed to test my viark with my mates communal flat sat ports. The channels that seem to work are only the sky ones except t*t sports. None of the freesat work aswell. Is this an lnb issue?

When you blind scan a satellite you are scanning for every TP listed on your box for say 28.2e and those that are not. New TP's found will be added and scanned for channels.
If channels are clearing and then scrambled then that suggest to me that you have an intermittent internet connection problem.
Sky are closing down some channels and moving others to new TP's which is why Ferret said to blind scan and Manic said TP changed on many.

Yeh I’ve done a blind scan a couple of times. I think it’s just his communal sat dish. All the sky channels work just not the tnt which is odd. His internet isn’t an issue as far as I’m aware.
