Triax multiblock lnb holder

Tell me a channel on 19e and I'll check for you but are you uisng a signal meter or the receiver. Different images will give different readings and db can be a better indicator.
Sky Sports F1 I have S81% Q65% SNR10.3db. Receiver. Thanks
Cheers

Thats not bad, I had to search for that one  I get 13.9 db and 86 signal, agc is 97. I use a 1.10cm and black ultra. But I'm further west and use a uno4kse with Openbh at the moment and cable is about 20 feet. On other I get 16.9db.

You could try for better but with your dual it can muck the other one so you have to compromise, over 65q means rain should not affect.

Thanks for that. What is agc if you don’t mind? I can’t find that reading anywhere.

Hi all, bracket up and lnb connected to stb. Dish pointing at 16e with 19.2 offset. I am getting strength 83 quality 64 on 1m dish in NE for 19.3 Is this acceptable or need fine tuning? TIA
The numbers don't really mean much as they differ from receiver to receiver. Providing you have maxed them out you should be ok. Rain fade is what you need to watch out for. Use a hosepipe to water your dish and lnb to see if the picture breaks up.

Think I’m going to have to do some adjusting. Only pulled in 883 tv channels and missing some sky sports channels. None of the sky sports numbered channels. Only got x1 sky sport bundesliga channel & only x1 sky sports Austria channel too.

With 19.2east Astra ik il im in .My s.n.r agc
Is balanced at 72° 74° across the v and h side of
The transponder. Post photo shot of your installation .Your skew angle might need adjusting

Haven’t got around to doing any further adjustments due to suffering from an attack of the auld gout. I have just realised though that I made a school boy error and I have housed the lnb to the wrong side of the 16e lnb. I have no idea how I’m picking up any German/Austrian channels at all. Ha.

On bigger dishes there is a lot more margin of error to be had. But not that much :ROFLMAO:

Ha. I tried to set the azimuth up at 169 for 7e instead of 155. Deary me. Hopefully when I get a chance to sort, it will pull all transponders for 19.2 easily enough. Surely it has to if I’m getting boatloads being miles out.

For an offset lnb, you need to put in on the opposite side. e.g. if you need to swivel your dish to the right to aim for 19.2e, you put the lnb on the left.

looking from behind my dish if I was focussing it on 19.2 from 16e I would need to move it to the left I think. So looking at dish from lnb side it should be to the right of the current lnb. That correct?

Evening all. So I was finally fit enough to get up the ladders today to adjust the lnb position and skew. Now I’m getting mid to high 70s signal and mid to low 70s quality with vast majority of channels running between 12-14db on 19e. My 16e is still stable. Blind scans are pulling in between 96-102 Transponders and getting about 880 channels. I am still having the issue though where it still will not pull in all the sky sports channels. That’s bundesliga/sports/sports Austria 2-n. Any ideas I am at a loss? For instance it will pick up 4/7 channels from a transponder but the 3 that are missing are always a sports channel of 2-n. TIA.

Try enter the frequencies blind scan can miss tp's.

Thanks. That’s the strange thing. It finds the transponders but mainly with fec at auto. I have tried adding new frequencies with correct fec and it will only pull in the same channels. Even tried a point above and below with no success.

Sky Sports on 19e dont show content all the time so it may be there not transmitting.
If they weren’t transmitting would I still get the channel though in channel list just obviously not broadcasting tho? It’s same with Sky bundasliga. I only get the one channel no others in the list. Maybe I need to wait until weekend and do another scan?
