I have not used Scunnsee version so cant guarantee but I know it works with most images...

It worked for me on my sucmnsee version the only problem I had was with the EPG I installed the latest open vix to solve the problem! Problem was as shown in #1047

I've had a look at this & it felt just a little quicker than slyk1. I've tried a thread search to see if there's anything about getting snr information on the infobar?
The animation icon when busy seems a bit big and the volume bar could do with numbering.
Great work and seems pretty quick!
 
Hi there can anone help me?
I ftp'ed the picons/preview as per post #1 but my picons/preview are not working
Ive never used the picons before so is there sine settings i need to change to get them working?
I am on open atv 5,1

You need to ftp the folder named picon inside the SkyQ Preview.rar to usr/share/enigma2/SkyQ

I did the FTP ok, but the Picons are still notshowing
I wondered if I had to change anything on the settings to make them show
Do I need a pic on plugin?
I am new to this .

Previews are different to picons.

For picons you need to download the Picons.rar file

Extract the folder picon and ftp it to either usb or hdd of your box. Or root of your box

Then to display in channel selection screen

Go to channel select screen then press menu then select settings and where it says show picons select yes and press green to save.

Thanks I tried that and still no joy I extracted both preview and Picons but neither are showing
Maybe something went wrong when I FTP the folders over. I guess I'll see if deleting and FTP again might work.

Sure. Unless you are using E2 Autobouquet then it will not show are both picons and previews use Service name picons...

Not sure if I understand your last message, are you saying I have to use E2 autobouquets to make the Picons/previews work ?
I'm not sure what I use, I have the wooshman build..
I tried deleting and resending to box and still not working so thinking it must be the autobouquets you mentioned?

Does your epg screen has channel numbers and service name?

Yes I do have channel numbers...
101 - BBC Two Wales HD , 102 - BBC Ones Wales HD etc
Is that correct? I see some have a picon instead of channel number.
I wanted mine like your pics on the original post..

Yes then you are using E2 Autobouquet. Check out post #900 on how to change both the picons and preview file names to go with the E2 Autobouquet names.

I use the E2 and im displaying numbers on the epg
I want to use skyq preview
Im not sure I understand what I need to do..
Are you able to help explain what I need to do ?

It seems if Im reading correctly I need to ftp the preview picons to the root of the box (autobouquets will then add numbers?)
Then FTP the preview picons back to desktop and FTP back to usr/share/enigma2/sky q?
I do apologise for hijacking the thread i just really want a skin like the original post..

Basically in the skyq preview picon folder they are named example : itvcentralwesthd
You basically have to rename them all to 103-itvcentralwesthd or whatever your channel name is, so the post is saying copy chabs preview picons to your normal picon location probably media/usb/ or wherever they are setup, run autobouqets and it will then change the name of them then copy them back to the skyq folder where they need to be to display the preview picons
