What needs updating?? Epg tabs? I am working on a project when I get back. Please do make a list of the issues that needs updating or fixing..

Maybe a full hd version? So I can use dreamplex skin packs :)

FHD will have 2 be a different version bcz sum ppl dont hv FHD Tvs yet. And it will be a big file due to the size of graphics...I will create a dreamplex skin pack 4 it soon...

If I can get dreamplex skin for current version il be more than happy with that. Still my best skin so keep up the good work

Sure mate. I have unfinished work 4 wooshman at the moment. Once that is finished next week, i will skin dreamplex 4 skyNEW skin as well as VM-HD skin

Hey chabs could you add the program start time into the planner screen this would help when knowing what program to play first when recording same program ie corrie

U not bothering mate. I have been having a problem with my hdd. Have sent it 2 get fixed so still waiting...all my files are in there cz had flashed my pc...

Hi dude,

I currently have the original version of the skynew skin installed on vu+ solo sw v2 running openvix.

I don't have working tabs and the colour also seems a bit dull and not as vibrant as in the screenshots posted by others. Hard to describe but it is just not the same haha.

I am not sure if updating will fix both issues, but that's what I'm going to try first as I see you have a version release in march.

I tried using the auto update (blue button in the selector plugin) but I just get an error and box restarts.

If I install the IPK over the top by transferring the file across will that work? Or will I need to remove the current skin and then reinstall?

Better remove the current one using telnet and try install the last version uploaded. I will be releasing an update on all my skins as soon as I get my hdd recovered.

Could you upload a screenshot of the version you are currently using and the issues..

Ok @Chabs , this is a little embarrassing haha. The colour issue is fixed. I just had a brain fart and gave it a bash. The tv was set to "movie" picture mode. I just changed to "dynamic" and the colours are now appearing as they should!

So my only 2 issues now is that

1. in the epg the headings "all channels" "entertainment" "movies" etc are just fixed.

The epg itself does switch through the channels, just the heading is fixed.

2. I can't seem to work out how to add the top picks from cron timer. Should the 2 scripts appear in cron timers? Do I need to type in the script names?
 
IMG_0697.JPG I installed the skynew skin 1.003 version and switched over to sky alternative saved settings rebooted box and it looks the same as 1.000 version to me.

I took a look at #83 post picture that's how I prefer it @Chabs can you modify it similar to #83 page. I have attached a sample picture below.

If you are talking about the picons on the left hand side it is because yours are not turned on.
From that EPG screen....

Menu -> Settings -> Service title mode - set this to Picon or Picon and Service name -> green button

If it isn't you will need to be clear on what it is you want the same.

@nitro123 -
from full screen TV - press your EPG button.
from full screen TV - press your TV button.
from full screen TV - press your Down / up button.

The first will show the screen you want which is the EPG screen, the second and third is the channel selection screen.
 
Thanks guys got it the screen that I wanted to be displayed.

How do I get the picons little icons pictures to show up on left side ?
