Just redoing a box for a friend, after FTPing the ipk over and rebooting box.....install from TMP folder but it says "Done - Installed, upgraded or removed 0 packages".....and nothing showing in skin folder on the box. Not sure what the issue is

Using newest version of Wooshbuild.

If you're using the latest Wooshbuild the SkyQ skin is already installed.
Menu>Setup>Usage & GUI>Skin Setup.
 
I'm not after the skyQ skin, just want the SkyNEW skin (which is in the 1st post).....it's not installing anything when I install the ipk file from TMP folder, not sure what the issue is
 
Probably a stupid question, but is the check box definitely ticked when you try to install the ipk?
Happened to me the first time I tried to install.

BTW, fantastic skin chabs.
Just wondering if anyone could tell me how to add the following to the infobar?
Time that the current programme started at, a progress bar and possibly SNR.
Any help much appreciated
 
The progress bar is already there but hard to see.

The yellow bar of the current program has a slightly different yellow as it progresses along.
 
Couldn't see it, maybe there was a bug as I was using kiddacs skin previously
I managed to get everything sorted now anyhow. Cheers
 
Is there an option for when up/down is pressed it doesn't show the channel list page but rather just show the next channel in the bar like real Sly?

Yes...install virtual zap plugin and set it to use left and right buttons.

Hi All,

Novice here so please bear with me! I have just got a Vu+Duo 2 & I have loaded TenBelow's "OpenATV 6.0 Custom Build" Image as I assumed it is the latest & best version. On my Solo 2, it had Kiddac's Slyk Skin.

The Skin on the image is of a SkyQ type & even though it is very early days, I am not sure if I like it or can get used to it tbh. I checked in the skins section & this version was not there to be selected & it looks like a better, more up to date version of the one on my Solo2.

Is there an easy way for me to get this skin on my Duo 2 via the menus or from a download or something like that via the box?

Is it just a matter of personal choice & preference between this skin (based on looks & layout) & the SkyQ type one or does that latter offer more features/functions etc?

Also, is it possible to have the channel logo's next to the channel name when selecting the various EPG sections - at the moment it is just the channel names:

Hi guys, running Wooshbuild 6 on an H2S... i was previously on 5 and everything was great..

Now, i have no categories in my EPG at the top and the channel up and down buttons move forward and backwards 24 hours rather than up and down a page...

I cant for the life of me find the settings to change this.. any help?

Hi,

I was able to finally get this skin on my Duo 2 so thank you very much! I ahem tried getting the logos/picons to appear but not having much luck - can you kindly expand on where where I can find the settings & what to select?

I have gone into Menu > EPG & in all of the various EPG Settings options & where available have selected "Picon & Service Name" but they do not appear anywhere when using the box?

Nice one, prefer this much better. Was using bluehd before I saw this... Just need tweak some settings.


Is there something a dreamplex skin?

Does anyone know how I can make the epg description smaller so all the info fits ??
