Hello all just wondering are all oled TVs plastic screens or plasma screens? I can’t really tell what my one made from because it sounds like plastic screen when I flick it.

They are different, plasma glass and OLED polymers
but google google it and you can find the exact materials that I used to make both screen types.

it sounds like plastic screen when I flick my finger on the screen but looks like glass, are all oled TVs like this made from polymers?

Google type in any search engine “ what materials are used to make OLED screens”
You will find your answer that is what I did and not sure why you would ask on here when there is way more information on other sites covering the matter.

Because I know you have the answer to nearly everything that’s why I decided to ask on here instead of google search 😃👍

And google is not that accurate I think because people write different reviews and can’t get the right answer.

I only get my information from research and others.
I just don’t take the first answer I find or am given.
This why it’s better to research yourself as I may have given you the wrong answer through poor research.

If you want to be 100% sure what the screen is made from, there is a very simple test you can do.

Get an old spark plug, and chip a piece of the ceramic off it.

Then flick it at the screen of your oled.

If it cracks, then it's plastic / polymers.

If it shatters, then it's glass.

🤣

Give me half an hour and I will remove one of my cars spark plugs and test it lol.
