With modern DNA, technology, investigative forensics, should the death penalty be reinstated for premeditated murder? I am all in favour of just culling the scum that we saw sentenced yesterday for 52yrs. In the case of unquestionable evidence against someone who commits the acts we’ve seen over the last few years on the general populace just going about their daily lives It sickens me to think these people can wallow in comfy cells and bleat on about Human Rights.

Edt for grammar

I personally believe if the evidence is 100% without a single inch with doubt and undeniable proof, then depending on the offense they should be tortured for as long as possible, Unpopular opinion

I don't think that would be unpopular with the vast majority of right thinking people who are law abiding and would never think of murdering an innocent person, raping any woman or child or carrying out any acts of terrorism. No doubt there would be some softies like Starmer and co who would cry that it would be against their "Human right" but if they are capable of carrying out such acts then they do not qualify as being human so that act should not apply to them.

That ******* will get done hopefully in prison he should have been hanged

Couldn't agree more

It's a slippery slope. I'm in the US where we have the death penalty and while I agree in instances where it's clear as day that it should be instituted.... and this guy that killed these kids deserves to rot in hell and be tortured and killed many times over (if possible).... there's so many cases where the wrong person is sentenced to be killed. I'm not sure which is the right answer to this because the ones who commit these heinous crimes, should be sentenced to death, but without 100% confirmation, I go back and forth on it.
