Using my 4k Firestick with a VPN I can get BBCi player, C4, C5 and ITVX but ITVX is constantly buffering, which is most annoying
Does anybody know why I should have so many issues with ITV x and not the other catch up services?

Most of these apps are using VPN detecting.
Force close ITVX and VPN and clear cache.
Power down router for a couple of minutes and reboot.
Maybe also worth trying another vpn because some can have dns leaks.

Have you tested on your mobile on the same network?

@HappyHotspur I installed ITVX on my Android device and noticed it wouldn’t let me login with my VPN enabled but I managed to login with it disable.
Then I enabled my PIA VPN to a UK server and tried some content and it played just fine.
I am based in the UK so my latency won’t be as high as yours.

You could try another VPN.
But see the results on your mobile.
There are apps for a DNS leak test but I just use the website dnsleak.com on a browser on my device.
Some VPNs come with a DNS leak test also.

Try Stream locator app, it's on Amazon store , free to use 7 days trial it worked for me in Turkey

Smart dns normally work or express probably best vpn

Test for a dns leak and if that is ok.
You could try a different protocol in settings on your Nord VPN.

My household seems to always have issues streaming from ITVX regardless of VPN being enabled or not. We have decent speeds, but just that app seems to give us issues. Can be the TV loaded app or casting from phone, always buffer issues 😢

Set your vpn to Ireland and download the virgin media player. I had to do this to watch IMAC with Mr Donnelly and a mate

Yes tried both with the same buffering issues, I guess ITVX is just a poor app as I don't get the same issues with BBCi player or C4
