I got a 4k OLED TV and a 4k firestick I can’t tell much difference between 1080p or 4K channels so u should just stick with the 1080p TV unless you really want to spend some big bucks on a oled TV😉

Yeah but if you watch some 4k HDR or Dolby Vision content you would definitely see a difference.
When you watch a UHD 4k IPTV channel press the info button on your remote and it should report it as HLG or HDR. That if it’s a proper 4K channel.

The true 4k UHD should report HLG like the content on BBC iPlayer UHD content.
Well that’s what is reported on my LG TV.
I personally think the picture looks better than 1080p SDR
