Hey guys. I currently have SP1 on my Viark 4K. Can I ask if anyone knows if the SP2 is any good? What I mean is - is the IPTV fairly stable, or not really worth bothering with? Thinking about getting it next time. Thanks.

If Apollo iptv works you have SP2, if it doesn't work then you have SP1

You get 1 year if you converted to SP code on a box less than 6 months old

Just updated and no need to re enter line

However, If you do full factory reset you have to re-enter line details. In Viark 4k you not need to worry about that.

Now Viark Sat and Viark 4K use same method to access key section
On Viark Sat/4K
Press Info button
Then press 1-4-7
This gives access to keys.

Might sound like a stupid question but anyway......... I've a V8 uhd box, it came setup but was setup on a motorised dish so has a number of satellites I don't use. If I was to delete all channels and re-scan myself all the satellites I have do the "green" channels automatically show otlr do I have to do some tweaking

Just deselect the sats you dont want in the menu.

You could Factory reset, that would reset all setting and the channel list but not effect your mars sub providing you still have the file.

You could then scan the sats you have.

Or upload a channel list for just the sats you have but you dont say what they are. Uploading a list closer to your requirements will over write the one on it now.

Silly question Manic mate but hasn’t the last sw update sorted out the auto biss anyway so no need to enter/change keys?

Auto biss only works on active server subscription, so no active sub no auto biss so manual key entry required.
To be honest it was in response to another member on SU who could no longer use the old access route for keys on a 4K so this way was pointed out for that reason. 👍

How do I back up channels to install this update

On the Viark select menu, Net and Games, then USB.
Press EPG then 1113. This will then ask you if you want to save your channels as name channels on the USB stick. Press OK to save the channels.

I can confirm that Bein Audio -EN working on all different sats and channels showing Liverpool v Everton game. Using Viark Sat 4K. Game changer for anyone using motorised set up as it gives us plenty of options 👌
