hello my viark sat4k is stuck on boot mode it just keeps trying to boot could someone quickly point out how to do hard reset? will i need to install any new software im sure ive read on here before people with similar problem

1. Format a USB to FAT32.
2. Download original Viark sofware and rename the bin file to "update.bin" and copy to the USB.
3. With the Viark disconnected from the power, insert the USB into the VIARK receiver.
4. Turn on the Viark and press (hold down) the POWER button on the front of the receiver.
5. Stop pressing the POWER button, once the letters "-ES-" appear on the display, as the recovery will begin.
Note: if the recovery fails, try several more times to get the recovery to work.

Now flash the latest PT firmware

think im ok now had to use version2 of the original firmware

just update,managed to get the box back using original firmware 2.00
updated to 1.17 but box went back into boot loop wouldnt boot up
so went back to version 2.00 and updated to 1.16 and its working perfect again the box doesnt like 1.17

Strange that mate did you update to 1.17 OTA or USB?

I’ve always updated mine OTA and never had any issues with it

ota was working fine until today then went in boot loop so put 1.16 back on and its fine up to now.
when i reloaded 1.17 on the usb it went to boot loop again very strange.
