Thanks for that but i have formatted before so i could put on the openvix 4 which got me in trouble. All i have to download to my box is a kodi build. Do you think this will work

kodi has/had issues & hasnt worked well for a while so lost favor with a lot of users although I think I saw a thread on here to a working version, IPTV has become popular on the zegemma & works reasonably well

Hi Whoosh.. for some reason today my BBC1 has not channel swapped.. All the others seem to be fine, but not that one.

Hmm.. it seems BBC 1 HD has moved from 141 to 115.. so i changd the line in channel_swap.txt from 141=101 to 115=101 and now, i seem to have 2 channel 101's lol.. the SD one first and then the HD...

I'verun a fresh NIT scan and also redownloaded the EPG stuff.. but i still have 2 channels... what have i done lol

wow.. well this is weird.. if i go down through the EPG.. i have 2 channel 104 (channel 4), 105, (Channel 5), 118(itv2), 119 (itv3), 120(itv4).. SD first and then HD I'm sure there are more but basically i think i've cabbaged the channel_swap.txt file.. help!

Note, the new box is for a friend and will of course have a different Nline. I would like to install my settings / configuration onto my friends new box without starting from the start?

Easiest way is to create a Complete Backup from the Blue button using a USB in the front port and choosing USB. Takes about 5 minutes or so. Once done put it in your computer. You will see two folders on the front USB, one called full_backup something and the important one called zgemma. Inside the zgemma folder is the h3 folder, inside that is a file called noforce. Rename it for force so it will just flash automatically.


1. In your current box, put your friends blank USB (which will be used for recording etc) into the front port and initialise it and create a swap file - use the instructions in the first post for this.
2. Remove the USB from current box and plug it into the rear port of the NEW box.
3.On the new box, put the backup USB in the front USB port and turn on the box, it should now flash an exact image of your box. Remove the USB from the front once flashed and put back into computer.
4. Now copy the new line details onto the USB, back in the box and use the USB Cam importer plugin to put your friends line on his box.

The new box will be a mirror image to yours except it is now using the new line.

Just installed this on H.S works fine no problems.

For some reason I find openatv to be slower then openvix rarely see the loading circle on openvix but see it fair bit on openatv.

Thanks for the feedback on the HS.

You can try removing some un-needed plugins to see if that helps reduce the spinner. Kiddac has done a list of things which can be removed somewhere.

I seem to have another issue.. I want to use a Micro SD 128GB but when initializing storage device, i get to 100% and then get Error X Intialising storage device.... Error: Timeout elapsed, sorry.

Any suggestions?

With your box running, put the new USB in the front of the box, then use the instructions to initialise and then create a swap file. Using the front USB saves you having to deactivate the swap file and turning off timeshift. It sounds like you have a usb 3.0 stick, so may not work in the front USB but give it a go. If it doesn't work, you will have no choice but the deactivate swap and turn off timeshift.

Swap: Red button -> Plugins -> Swap manager -> deactivate (red button?)
Timeshift: Menu -> Setup -> Recording & Timeshift -> Timeshift -> Start timeshift after - Disabled.

So, once one or the other method has been done, you will have a 64gb usb ready for use.

If you did it in the front port, deep standby the box, put the new USB in the back and turn on the box Job done.
If you had to use the rear port you will have created and activated the new swap file as per the instructions and you will need to turn on the timeshift again.

MUTV HD was added to v3.02 and is in the sports section, I don't know the channel number as it is in the sports section... yawn :-)

To do a manual channel scan press the green button, select AutoBouquet E2, press green button to scan and select yes.

These seems to be to do with the size of the "Micro" SD Card. You can always try using Partition Magic on your PC to create a ext3/4 partition, or have a search and read around the forums for other possible solutions to this. It is not a WooshBuild thing so I have never really looked into this except reading you can do it manually using putty and telnet but it is not for the light hearted if you go down that route.

You may find a tech bod may hope on and answer this for you if you are lucky.

Probably me confusing myself as we tested a hell of a lot of builds and features over a week. (Really Beni will have confused me but don't tell him I said that)

I presume you have a H2S box and downloaded in the last couple of days? If so it is an oversight. If you flashed before then you may just have the same version before it went final.

That is why as the 2S is still a beta version. It is virtually v3.02 though, you are not missing anything really.

I might get around to putting my 2S back on and updating it to 3.02, but it is cosmetic really. I presumed you had a H2S as this is the H2S thread :-)
