I've just got a pop up about timeshift asking if I want to delete or leave,now stupid me never took much notice but I'm sure it was saying the hdd was full but I've not recorded out

Button playing sometimes turns the recording on without you realising it and soon fills the USB.
You need to check the HDD device to see if it is full and delete the recordings you don't want.

There is a response yes, you can do everything on the box buy just not watch anything as wooshbuild logo is stuck on the screen,,

If you press green button does plug in browser screen come up ?
If yes then into autobouquets and press green button again and let it run.(do a nit scan)
When finished back into plugins and ok on crossepl downloader and let it run.
When all finished press fav select ent go onto bbc1 and press ok.
What happens ?

Easiest way is probably by using dreamexplorer plugin facility.

Crossepg daily update only seems to run if the box is switched on. If it's in standby the daily update doesn't seem to run. Is this correct? The autobouquets update always runs from standby as the box switches itself on and off. Thanks

Try changing which cam it uses in the softcam panel.

It does run with the box in standby. If it runs in deep standby I don't now. Just because your TV doesn't switch on doesn't mean it hasn't worked. Have you check the time stamp on the crossEPG files on your USB device and compare them to the scheduled time? If not, have a look using Dream Explorer in plugins.

I will try it from sleep though later on just to be sure.

Just to clarify. No matter what I do when I delete the tabs I don't want they reappear sometime later. Not a biggie I know but just thought I'd let you know. This did not happen on autobuetiquet maker. Just on e2. Thanks

OK mate, thank you for posting your findings as I have not had chance to play yet. I will see if there is something somewhere to do what you expect it to do. I would also expect it to remain hidden or deleted.

Try using dreamexplorer to delete the crossepg.db files and run the crossepg downloader. It should recreate the database.

I am looking to flash Woosh onto my Zgemma sometime next week when I am home from work, just trying to get my head around the process first even though it seems straight forward. One question I have thought of that might slow me down is that I will be using a MacBook Pro. Is there any reason that I would struggle? The main Hdd is already in ExFat so hopefully that won't be a problem...

It's a long shot but have you done the online update after flashing the Base?. It does this until you press blue button/ flash online/ Woosh build 3.01.!!

That should not be a problem . I use a Mac myself just make sure your usb is formatted to fat32/exfat with disk manager

Hi Wooshman, you're absolutely right. It updates when in standby, just checked the date in the log file. It just happens silently in standby. When the box is on its quite visible that it's happening as the screen logo and music starts up at the same time as the update. Why not the same as in standby? cheers

Can anyone tell me if OpenWebif works with this build as I know there were issues with it on v2? Im still running v1 of Wooshmans build and want to reflash with v3 but I use OpenWebif a fair bit so don't want to lose that functionality. Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, I've searched the thread and cant see anything about it.

Also, thanks to Wooshman for the builds and write ups (and Kiddac for the skin), even my technology illiterate father was able to follow and set up his box with no issues!
