Wooshbuild Support Thread

Yes I download the updates, it's only when I click the green button to install them that I get the message saying that my image is out of date and do I want to continue.

I have continued and installed the updates, my box did freeze for ages but the updates eventually went in.

Just not sure why it's saying my image is out of date whenever I go to install the updates. It mentions doing a re flash.

EDIT - When I say download the updates, I mean I go into the update screen and wait for the list to populate with say 35 updates. I then press the green button to install and I then get a warning message saying my image is out of date and warns me it might be best not to continue. Not sure why my image would be out of date though? What image version should I have and can I check it?

If you do the updates - as in install them, I am surprised you get a warning saying it is out of date. What period of time are you doing the updates over? Running them weekly will stop this message.

If you backup your settings you can select re-flash wooshbuild from within WB Config. This will flash the latest wooshbuild for your box. BUT, it does depend what box you are using. The H2S is always the most recent closely followed by the Vu+ Solo and Duo2. Once it has flashed just restore your settings.

Any IPTV you may have added will need re-adding even if you still have bouquets showing.

Thanks, my box is the H2S.

I'd say I run updates every few weeks but I don't think that is the issue. I've just installed the latest 39 updates and when I go to install any more it will still give me the message saying my image is out of date.

I'm already on the latest Wooshbuild as far as I'm aware as I re flashed my box a few weeks ago without backing up my settings etc, but I'll probably re-flash it from WB Config again and see what happens after that.

Thanks.

Is there a way to downgrade to v5 from v6? I dont seem to have a backup from what box says (no expert with this tbh) reason being my line was working on old version now its not and wont import from usb as not recognised. Transferred file via ftp filezila and tried to restart softcam - no non-free channels! I havent got a clue where to start tbh - can i just downgrade???

did you transfer file to correct location? and restart ccam? and what channels were you trying to open? ie sat or cable?

wont import from usb as not recognised
It will recognise any filename as long as it has .cfg, list or .server as the extension. If you have ftp'd it too then something is wrong with the filename or content.

Every post about the cam importer has actually been a incorrectly named file or the line wasn't working. I won't go back through 70 pages counting the ones which didn't work in the end, but I don't think the cam importer has been the cause. First time for everything though.

Sat. i tf cws line to etc folder newcamd.list filename - can access softcam manager to restart now, just a softcam panel which notes cam 1 as ccam2.3.0 and cam2 as mgcamd_138r1 getting no new ecm info on this page???

The popup message when you insert the USB stick is normal - it is saying that there is no playable media on the device you just plugged in.

Press the blue button followed by the yellow button to show the devices plugged into the box. If you stick is listed there then the cam importer will see it. I think is checks up to 7 devices being plugged in all at once.

If you have been hitting it hard though the box may think you have something like /media/sda9. If this is the case, from full screen: red button -> plugins -> Mount manager -> highlight your USB stick and pres the green button.

From that screen set your usb stick to /media/usb and press the green button to save.

not showing in either screen, does that mean it is the usb thats knackered?

Unzip and copy zgemma folder to USB and turn the power on.
You will also need to press the front power button when the front display says USB
