Xtrend hasn't been removed.

Hi guys sorry to bother anyone but I am stuck on 49% on my H7C Openvix willobuild 6.6 after willobuild update, it seems that I have got FTP connection (FTP manager) on my iPhone to root is there any way that I can boot on different partition via command or anything.

This script should boot the box into partition 4

cp STARTUP_LINUX_4_BOXMODE_1 STARTUP

Some boxes are showing ViX 6.7 release in the downloads section of Image Manager.
I would recommend waiting until it is officially released and all the feeds are uploaded.

I would also recommend a fresh flash and don't restore your own settings backup.

I've asked the question but they have no idea why it's not appearing in the list.
It's not a supported method of flashing and they are very busy with 6.7 at the minute.

You can always download in Image Manager and I'll help with the settings restore.

Bit of a clue here:



Delete some old backups from the hdd.

I would leave it until 6.7 has uploaded tomorrow and try again.

thanks mate i must have missed that part , i have reformated the usb its has nothing in it , it seems that its booting up every time with script you've provided but stays on 49 ... its shame that i cant even flash via terminal...

49 error is related to skins if I remember

The ViX site is showing as updating


I don't think it normally takes the site offline though.

My updater plugin updates the vix feeds. It is hanging because they're offline.

openvix.co.uk is offline as well as feeds etc ,thanks for confirming ,will check it out later on ,and will wait until get stable version of vix 6.7 before trying a update but as know always best with with a multi boot box loaded with a back up image ,saves lot of swearing and taking a hammer to your box

Both my tiviar alpha are now dead.
Looks like since last power cut the 2nd one won't boot.

I was looking for an alternative:
Dual Satellite tuner
Single Dvbt for Irish Saorview
Ability of EPG and to record.
Stream to dream player on Chromecast

I used to run willowbuild on both , not interested in any plugins , IPTV etc , just that I can pick up the free channels. Any recommendations for new box ?

Ok I've run the script , exited out of putty and backup manager has dl
Vix-rel- IM 6.7 willobuild.tar.gz .

What next ?

Download the ViX 6.7 image and flash from Image Manager. Restore the settings backup when prompted.

So I Restore your backup, and it's basically a fresh install, I need to install cams and lines again
