WilloBuild WilloBuild OpenViX 6.7 Series

Just tried flashing the latest Willobuild 6.7 and my box has blanked out, or rather the screen has. It just says -100 on the box display. Been like that for quite some time now. Got as far as the screen/resolution wizard, then everything went black. Just tried switching off and on again. No change. Any suggestions?

My box is an Octagon S8008.

Flash it from recovery mode then run the willo script again. Make sure you have a USB mounted in the box before running willo script.

You can always switch to a different slot from recovery mode

Try changing the resolution from openwebif.

Had the box switched off from the mains for a while and just turned it back on. Started to load up and the 'OpenVix 6.7 WillBuild' boot screen is on, but it's stuck on 49, the number on the front of the box. OpenWebif won't connect to it, as it's turned off, to all intents and purposes I guess.

Ok, booted into recovery mode, into a stable version. Tried the WilloBuild again, via Putty and it didn't work. Ended up deleting all previous versions and back-ups. Still not flashed. I'm getting this screen/message at the end of the process. I'm thinking that 'Remote side unexpectedly closed network connection' is due to the box re-booting perhaps but what's the bit about 'Error starting autofs'? Also, when putty asks me about multiboot and which sector to partition, I'm skipping that bit. Should I be indicating something there? If so, what? I have no idea.

I would flash ViX from the recovery menu and start from scratch.
When it's working try again and select partition 2 to flash my build to.

If you try again, select another partition to the one that you've got ATV on when you install.
That way you can always boot back into ATV if anything goes wrong.

I think that's the best way, will borrow a laptop tomorrow and use it. Today it's late night.
I tried over the weekend to log into my os mega on pc inorder to install willobuild but all i could manage was accessing hard drive only. Putty was giving me timed out error. I thought it was easy to do it but its the opposite, not a layman's job.

These boxes are not for novice users when things go wrong.
