opkg update

It should tell you which one is failing.

Which version number of ViX are you using. Best to also post a screenshot of menu, information, about

I seem to remember someone on the WoS forum saying that the feeds were down on the latest ViX image but can't find the post now. (it may have been a dev image)
Did you try restoring later on via Backup Manager?

Just tried a fresh install on a different slot,looks likethe VIX feeds are down alright...stuck on 0%.
I'm not stuck,have it on another slot.

Have you run the opkg update command? Please post back what you get. This will show what the error is. The feeds for that particular receiver may need rebuilding.

After reading this thread i was inspired to try willobuild on my old but newly bought edision os mega. i launched the install code through ajpanel and it went on well up to the point where it asked me to choose my box out of several numbered brands. I tried punching number buttons on the remote but no response. What could be the easiest way to install the build for someone without a Computer.

It will work via a phone but will be a strain on the eyes trying to view on such a small device.

Have tried webif to install am only getting channels, remote control and others settings I don't know where to start from. Am not familiar with these webif things. Please guide me

First you need to go into the network setup in the main menu of your box using the remote control, and set a password.

You then need to login to the box using the terminal section of openwebif. (I've no idea how to do that on a phone).
You then paste the script from page 1 and follow the prompts.

I think that's the best way, will borrow a laptop tomorrow and use it. Today it's late night.
