Afternoon guys. After a bit help if possible. V8 uhd lost all signal/quality readings on wed night. 3 sats sitting at 0% on both. Free sat connection direct into tv from same lnb is all good. Is this pointing towards diseqc switch as the 3 sats into v8 are coming through this? Cheers. TIA.

I've got a motorised dish with 4 way lnb (only 2 connected).
V8uhd in my 'man cave' controls the dish, V8uhd in living room is connected straight to lnb so can watch whatever satellite the box in man cave has moved dish to but 99% of the time its set to 28.2.

I constantly have that no signal issue on the box in the living room, if i go back into the man cave i've got full signal on the same channel i'm getting 0% signal on in the living room.

Not always,but lots of times ,if i turn off the box by switch on the top, take out the lnb coax out the back then restart it i've got full signal again. No idea what causes it and its a pain in the bum but wondering if its a firmware issue if your having same issue with a diseqc switch.

Cheers. I sourced the problem to a kink in the cable running into the back of the v8. Must of been shorting out, all ok after straightening it up. As for your issue I’m sure someone will be to give you a potential fix sooner or later.

You could try another output on your LNB to the living room box.

If not port then try check f connectors also could be water ingress in cable, try cutting back or dry run anoher cable to stb to check if that's the issue.

No but it can happen, I'm on 16e

Yeah I always seem to get 3-4 glitches per match on 19e but very rarely get any on 16e. Not sure why. I was going to try a diff lnb.

Ah ok thanks guys. I’ve only got a fixed dish with 19.2 and 28.2, maybe I need to invest in a motor!

Mines fixed pointing at 16e and offset for 19.2e. Just use old sky dish for 28.2e.

I have it on now on Sky Sports PL DE but on V8uhd. Been on 20 mins no glitches so far but I defo suffer them every weekend during epl games.

I think your problem is that the living room box is not aware that the dish has moved. Try selecting a different satellite then going back. I get this sometimes on my Solo2 and V8UHD.

Typically just watched full 1st half of ars v Villa on 19.2e without any glitches so far. Probs 1st time that I can remember of. Shouldn’t complain tho. Ha.
