What is biss I have a viark with 28e working fine

Biss is a type of encryption.
When there are biss encrypted feeds on satellites, the built in autobiss finds the required key which opens the feed.
Last weekend the darts was on a biss feed on 28e and the viark found the key ok

Go to a channel that is encrypted in biss, and wait a short time and it will open that channel.

Just updated to the latest SW but see no difference to be honest.
All sportb channels which were off are still off like for example Bein Sports channels on 19.2

I think this update was more about fixing auto biss and adding extra eglish audio options I believe mate. I don’t think you’ll get any extra channels clearing

Just for info I watched the England game yesterday on supersport and experimented with the new Bein eng comms and It worked great. Impressed with how well it worked. In fact sound may have been better than usual supersport coms. Unsure how much usage the function would get as Bein eng audio would have limited games which you could get with English comms anyway.

Just took a look at the iptv on viark sat as never use it and when looked before it was poor imo, Great choice of uk and world channels and VOD and great quality, well impressed.
I have SP2 code on viark.

I can't put a vpn on my vm router so will prob give iptv/vod a miss on the viark.
Have a good vod app anyways and epl is spot on, on the viark.

Bit of a dumb question here I've got my V8 UHD box, I've updated the firmware to the latest version, I've now just done a search under the installation bit for 28.2e and have channels (TV and Radio). Assume all the '$' channels are the encrypted ones.

I want to pull the trigger on a testline but is there anything else I need to do, or you'd advise, before I try a test please?
