Got the kangertech topbox mini and as a beginner it was a very simple setup.. done a little research into the coils etc but not to in depth.. using the clapton coil at the mo and seems to be decent. Cbd oil is damn expensive juat wondering has anyone mixed their own..seen alot of talk about ejmix and concentrates i dont know were id get a cbd concebtrate and also i think ejmix is prettt much pg based and you have to go for a pg based flavour also as cbd doesnt like vg...but would the throat hit not be horrendous with near enough 100% pg lol
 
I buy my mods from china on dhgate.com, yes it takes a 1-3 weeks for stuff to come from china,but if ur not happy with product when u get it you just report it and send it back for full refund,alot cheaper than vape shops
 
just got in from taking son to morning footy training and another vape shop opened up in town there as common as a corner shop now thats 4 in our town

yeah they are getting as bad as those juice bars that kept popping up yrs ago,lol
 
i have been a smoker since 13, 52years lol, anyway tried many times to give up using n h s smokefree at drs, but but always went back to fags.
i tried e cig pens, not good as kept breaking in pocket, so went on to istick mini. got on well with only occasional slip, now on smok hpriv with a ceilo tank and down to .6 juice from onepound liquids.
still get a crave every now and again but just get a few lugs down and it stops! been free since birthday in july!!
my advice is to just keep on trying taking it one day at a time.
my savings to date is £950 spent on e cig kit £85 and friend mixes liquid so contribute to cost of juice i would say £30,going to treat grankids at crimbo

I've not had a drag since July 8th after 35 years of smoking, saved about £550, spent a few quid on different batteries, tanks etc but feel much better, occasionally feel lke a rolly but just have a blast on me smok and I'm all good :(y):
 
Finally stopped smoking using an arc 4 ecig with no nicotine using zero nicotine liquids and feel 100% better in my self and just puff on that now
 
Hi all. I been vaping nearly 5 years. Had to give up smoking, fiffy ticker. Cardiac unit said to vape. I use vaporesso mods and tanks. Just starting with rebuild my coils. Have a friendly vape shop near me so mix my own liquids. The only thing I miss from smoking is stubbing out my fag.
 
Best place for juices please peeps,sorry if this has been asked numerous times,I'm a menthol man and spend 12 quid on 30ml of menthol and go through that in about a week,I'm warey about getting 120ml off websites incase they have the diathyl (I think that's what it's called that causes popcorn lung)any help would be much appreciated,only just started so any info will be grateful that ks again guys.
 
just make your own liquids, buy the base ingredients, nicotine and flavours
once all the ingredients are well mixed, you can use the juice practically straight away (few hours) - all that waiting for days for it to steep went out with the ark
Yesterday I bought 500ml of PG, 500ml of VG and these were £5 each - this is a litre for £10
I got 60ml of Nicotine for a tenner and I already have the flavour, 30ml which was £8 online

I only have enough of the flavour to make 300ml, this is my recipe from an online calculator:
257ml of the PG/VG mix
12.5ml of the nicotine as i want it to be 3% - or 3mg as it's commonly labelled
30ml flavour
METHOD:
put all ingredients (measured, not guessed!) into a plastic jug, place the jug into a large saucepan and pour hot water into the saucepan, this thins the ingredients down so that they mix easier.
once warmed (don't try to cut corners and microwave or you'll lose nicotine and impair the flavour) mix well with an electric blender/hand whisk.
leave the jug in a dark place, covered with newspaper or a cloth. a few hours later you can bottle the liquid, refrigerate the bottles for 2 hours, then it's ready for use.
300ml cost:

257ml pg/vg = £2.57p
12.5ml Nic = £2
30ml flavour = £8

Total - £12.57 for 300ml
please note that you are currently paying £120 for 300ml

I used to mix my own but got lazy, a firend mixes mine with everything in it in 500ml bottles and costs me £25-30 delivered to my door, so that does me, lasts me 4 weeks.

No, but I have a wife, so that probably tells you a lot,lol

I use a RX300 with a smok cloud beast tfv8 tank, and vape at 140 watt, so that's why it uses a lot. but I do use it constantly and I work outside so I am always puffing away,lol

ordered a smok alien a few days ago, currently using an Anniken Coolfire IV, i only have it on about 18w as it's too strong otherwise.
The Alien only comes with a 2ml tank so gonna see how it goes and probably order a bigger tank once I've got it up and running, ordered 3 new batteries at the same time as my old Kangertech needs a new battery, it's battered and scratched but I still use it with a spare Anniken top - the coils for these are better than Kanger, last longer and give a better vape, ordered six new coils too

Its a bit daunting making your own at first but give it a go. I do both, when i cba making some up i get my liquids from onepound liquid, as in name £1 a 10ml bottle + vat try them, i find them good.
 
I forgot about this thread. I'm sure someone here can help me.
New to vaping and have found it a bit of a minefield. Currently using a cheapo E-Cig with a standard 510 fitting (Kebor Cloud EGO 2200 from Amazon).
At the same time I also bought a THORVAP TC 40W Box Mod knowing nothing of how it worked and assuming I could just pop my 510 threaded carts in. Of course it isn't that simple. The carts I buy are 'specialist' and fit the e-cig but not the box mod. Is there any way I can convert the mod to fit my carts?
I've tried google, I've tried looking on Amazon etc but really have no idea.

no, those carts only fit that e-cig, for the Thorvap, you need to buy your own liquids and fill the tank, then use as a normal e-cig, but with much more control over strength, power, flavour and everything else
