Hope can be awake last 4 and hope that fight doesn't start at 5 but feel with anthems, entrances etc it will.

Hope it's a good fight and Saunders at least performs better than Smith did against canelo. But canelo I believe will be too much for him in the end.
 
Good performance from Saunders have to say. Unfortunate way the fight ended but with a serious eye injury like he suffered there was no way that he could continue.

Not canelo fan at all but man the kid is world class. So strong and powerful. Brutal shots and a brilliant counter puncher. He did have trouble working Saunders out during some of the rounds but seems he worked him out in round 8 and got closer to him in the inside with the devastating shots.

No dispute really canelo is the number 1 fighter in boxer.

Plant if he doesn't duck him who I think is a good fighter but believe Canelo would just outclass him with ease.

It's very tough to think who can beat canelo right now as all round he is on a complete different level to most boxers.
 
Have to agree pal. Nobody beats Canelo . Feel gutted for Billy Joe but I think there was only 1 winner. The 3 judges all had Canelo ahead yet a few commentators thought Billy Joe was winning when it was stopped.
 
he was never getting the close rounds in texas fighting a mexican legend

couldnt see how the dazn coms had saunders ahead though either lol.

canelo is frighteningly efficient now

Yes he wasn't never going to get a decision in texas against canelo. Was never gona happen.

Could see him being a success at light heavyweight if he goes up. As he will carry the power and he is a brilliant counter puncher as we know.

Plant vs canelo next but did you see Andrade crash post fight conference and canelo says get fcuk out your only after a pay day.
Was some close rounds shame Saunders didn't have the power to hurt canelo but his movement round ring was 1st class just a shame his hands was down but that uppercut was a beat from canelo
 
I didn't think Saunders was up in the contest as others have said! Looked fragile and it was when it was going to happen, he was never going to keep up! Canelo just had to pick his time and shot
Embarrassing all the hullabaloo and posturing!!
 
Must agree, I was also embarrassed by the 'Theres only one Billy Joe Saunders' chanting by Fury and his sidekicks - puts the Brits to shame as the other side were so well behaved.
 
Also, I saw a video of BJS being interviewed by a respectable Mexican guy. In the middle of it , for no reason, BJS says ' your breath smells of shit'. Just embarrassing and not funny. BJS has always done stupid things that deflects from his skills as a boxer. I wonder if his kids will be proud of him when they grow up and see stuff like that.

Its weird though, because I still wanted him to win so I must be a bit crazy myself.

Thing with bjs he dosnt posses the punch power to make a statement kind of thing he will either retire or look to see who there is for him to face.
Canelo was just biding his time with power punch after power punch personally think bjs was hurt towards the end of maybe 6th-7th round.
All this hype with fury been there saying he's going to do this that and other then all bs about ringsize just fueled canelo.
But credit where credit is due there was some close rounds pending how judges would've scored it.
That disrespect towards that Mexican reporter was out of order imo.

Ye nothing other than canelo for plant. He won't get a bigger payday in his whole career.

Nah didn't see the post fight conference tbh went to sleep straight after the fight.

Andrade would be a good fight but again I don't think he could do enough to beat canelo.

Ye Saunders boxed well until round 8 and especially the brutal upper cut.

Multiple fractures to his orbital bone, shows how hard canelo hits, I always give saunders a massive chance of beating canelo but tbh he looked like he could finish the fight when he wanted to, he's an absolute monster and I honestly see him going up weight again, his performance last night cemented how good he is and tbh if he did that to BJS then I don't think he will be touched, let's not forget, canelo destroyed kovelev, he knocked him out bad and he's bigger then canelo, he's a scary specimen, I see him going up weight as much as he wants, he always puts on up to16 pound on after a weigh in lol. Hopefully saunders comes again, he's a great fighter, but this injury could force him to hang up his gloves if that eyes is as bad as reported.

Ye sadly could see him going down the route of Brook. Its a serious injury tbh and he won't be the same fighter from such an injury imo.

See on some places people are saying canelo is juiced lol. We know of his past regarding drugs but I don't know seems that its natural his immense power and strength.

Would be interesting how easily he cleans up the light heavyweight division in the next couple of years. Whether he goes up beyond that would be a tough ask but you never know with him as he's all about history making.
