got an xpl300 which when i try to play tv apps like iplayer itvx etc they play slow and glitchy.
i have tivimate for iptv which plays great.

Try clear cache on apps and device or uninstall apps and fresh install.

Same issue with Ethernet and WiFi?
Have you rebooted router?

As it goes, my brother has been having similar problems with iPlayer, whereas IPTV with Tivimate is fine. He's using Vodafone as ISP, what about you?

Try playing iplayer & itvx on another device and see what happens.

The older android version maybe playing a part in your issue.

A lot of newer devices are running 11 and 12.
I am not saying it’s that but could be a possibility.

A new device running a newer version of Android would definitely fix it.
There device is over five years old.

Do big companies stop software updates for older devices?

Support will stop for older operating systems so some updated apps will no longer work correctly on older devices that have outdated OS.

My brother uses a Shield and has trouble with iPlayer?? Lol
