Tivimate 5.0 update channel mess?

Using shield on tivimate version 5.1.0 and just tested vod section of my iptv provider and on search when I click right to get of voice search the keyboard pops up ..all working f

Must be something my end, I can't get it to pop up , cleared cache rebooted still just voice option!
Checked settings and there is no options for altering anything

At first the voice option is activated when I use the search option and after a few seconds the voice search is deactivated if I don’t speak into my remote.
Then I use the mouse function click on the search bar and the on screen keyboard appears.

I just click right into box for manual, It worked ok up to a few days ago.
I mostly use the LG handset! But ironically you need the toberlone for voice commands to work properly.
I don't know how long it's not been working as can't remember when I last searched before the discovery.

I rarely use my LG remote and use the stock remote for my device which has voice and mouse options.
Mainly use voice for search but for unusual titles I have to use the keyboard.

I have just tested again now.
If I click on search and then click right on the dpad the voice is deactivated and cursor appears in the search bar and the keyboard appears.
Have you installed version 5.1.0 or are you already using that version?

I checked it's 5.1.0 I think I have tried everything now.
Apart from uninstall and reinstall but don't want to lose her indoors series list ! It's huge

How come Tivimate is available from google play, but not from the Amazon store. I've often wondered this.

Alex who developed the app allegedly mentioned that Amazon had turned the app down due to piracy concerns.
But it hasn’t stopped users installing it on Amazon fire TV devices.

I am using 5.1.5 and it’s pretty stable.
Not heard of any update recently.

It's pretty decent and stable but a few people I know who has EPG issues but usual clear cache and data sorted it out
