Yeah I get this quite a lot, mostly with series which have been out for a while, had a few issues with Yellowstone being inconsistent recently.
 
Asked this on the telegram but figured i should ask here too

Currently have the beta installed on a chromecast with Google TV and also tablet.

When resolving links the chromecast can be slow but the tablet not.

Anyone know if I upgraded to a shield pro would the resolving be a lot faster.

Tested Wifi speed on chromecast via Netflix and get 100 down so don't think that this is the issue

Any device with a more powerful cpu, more ram and a higher Antutu benchmark score will process tasks quicker.

I haven’t personally owned a shield but my device and the shield have Antutu benchmark score of over 200k so they are powerful and quick.

The Chromecast has 2gb of ram and scores less than 100k on Antutu and is a lot cheaper than a shield and is going to be slower.

Stremio should scrape quicker for you as it scrapes less providers compared to Syncler.
You can blacklist providers on the Syncler jakedup vendor so it scrapes quicker.

Not sure if you have read this thread but I have mentioned that I have removed all Anime providers as I don’t watch anime and it does speed up scraping.

Stremio is fast but I have found Syncler is nicer so want to stick with

I prefer it also and once you get used to using it’s easy to use.

I use it and it is a ok.
It scrapes quicker but less sources.
It works well with Trakt and has a calendar feature.
I doesn’t have AFR on the ExoPlayer like Syncler has.
If you use another player instead of the built in ExoPlayer it doesn’t track your watched content and doesn’t resume where you left off.
Which is what lets it down for me.
Syncler does if you use a different player.
I always use Syncler for movies because I use Kodi as the media player because it can convert Dolby profile 7 remux files.
Exo player can’t do that.
I don’t think it’s better.

When you seek using your D pad left and right it will forward and rewind the key quick seek duration you have set.
If you click ok first on the D pad and then you can use the on screen forward and rewind function which is 1 minute minimum.

If you are using an external player then the forward and rewind increments will be determined by that player.

In Weyd unlike Syncler you can also alter the on screen forward and rewind to a minimum of 5 seconds.
