Thats really not the point is it ?

Its more about trusting the forum to protect its users details by prohibiting ALL users personal details from being posted except with express permission. If I were to have a disagreement with somebody on this forum I would expect staff members to make sure non of my personal details were posted by another member. I'm sure you would expect the same !

There is one big difference i did not "ROB" and i say "ROB" peoples hard earned cash people like theses need to be named and shamed its the only way the bast***s wont do it again, and if i did it i would expect nothing different robbing fooking tow rags thats all they are, people like that should be put down at birth.
 
I have already removed anything reported that could give a members anonymity away, the picture of the house could be anyone's off Gmaps a it has no street address or house number so it was left.

Please get back on topic.

What people do or are alleged to have done elsewhere should not come into the equation whatsoever. The forum either has rules or it doesn't. If it does then the rules should be applied equally to ALL. If a forum doesn't follow its own rules, even when those rules may be distateful to those implementing them, then how does it develop the trust of its users ?

You may think such disclosures of personal info are justifed but where does it end ?

Whats to stop somebody joining up, see'ing this thread and assuming its fine for him to start posting other peoples details just because he has some personal grudge ?

Not the same thing I hear you shouting but in the context of individual forums its exactly the same thing. Rules are rules and should be applied to all, without exception.
 
We have rules and we have enforced them so why continue!.

Now quit or you and anyone else that continues down this route in this topic will be banned from this thread.

Further more WE will just close it and ban you all from the forum.

I suspect pretty much everything that can be on topic has already been said so in a strict sense it may of well of been closed long ago which is why your now not getting anything but gossip, off topic and argumentative posts.

SV is dead, time to bury it and move on !

I've been banned on more forums (including mystarpoo and its derivitives) than most people have had hot dinners so bans or threats of bans long ago ceased to be of any consequence to me. If something I see requires comment then I post regardless of consequence. If I get banned for presenting facts or even having an opinion that differs from others then so be it.

Yeah its all cool Box. RRS aka M55RK needed some info on how to set up 780.. yes i laughed at first but as they say we all deserve another chance.. lol

Hiya,, Ted havent recieved me box yet mate orderd the kv850 so dont need a null modem cable i think anyway lol
 
No worries M55RK... cactikid and boxt will help you in that dept.. no HD experience..lol.. but that could change on sunday as its my 40th and asked my girls for a 850HD as cactikid says i need to play around with one to earn my "site supporter" stripes... and make him laugh trying to set it up..but then will progress to Sat side/clines..whatever they are..!!
