Hi can anybody help? I ran the scripts SkyQScrape.sh ran fine. Had a few errors from SkyQPicks.sh. After running went in to cron time but none of the scripts are available for selection any ideas why? Thanks in advance for any help.

You might need to chmod 777 to both scripts

Telnet

And enter command:

chmod 777 /usr/script/SkyQScrape.sh

And

chmod 777 /usr/script/SkyQPicks.sh

You have to run

/usr/script/SkyQScrape.sh first before SkyQPicks

I did what you said still no option to select the scripts in cron timer. So restarted my vu+solo 2 box once it rebooted everything had a pink film over it any there wasn't any sound. Have i done something wrong?

Check you hmdi cable...the scripts have nothing to do with display or sound

If you enter custom script in cron it should be in full...

/usr/script/SkyQScrape.sh

And also for

/usr/script/SkyQPicks.sh

i have tried countless times on vix image for my zgemma h2 box.. but getting the error page.. i have sky q v1.0 installed before now... any help is much appreciated.. good job chabs :congrats:

You need to remove v1.0 then restart e2

Then try install the new ipk

Had a quick look at this, the 2 skyq scripts are in usr/script/ and cron manager cannot see them in there, it sees my scripts in usr/scripts (note the plural) so my question is should these scripts be in usr/scripts and if copied their with the scrapes sub directory will they still work as expected

This is on vix so may be different in other images

Yes mate. I think with vix it should be scripts and not script...

Hi thanks for your reply you are right moved the scripts and scrapes folder to /usr/scripts/ and i am now able to select them as predefined in cron timer

Not bein a cheeky mofo m8, is it a big task to write the command so it can be copied and pasted into putty?
