SkyQ Skin

my graphical epg has changed from the default layout as shown in the first post ,how do i restore it . also the picons infront of the channel name dont appear ,they did now they have dissapeared even though i have reload the 2 picon files into there correct locations

chabs your the man on here. how come nobody got any help for gigablue? i understand its same as enigma 2 just different name?

It is because you are using e2 autobouquet. It adds the channel number infront of the channel name and noth the picons and SkyQ previews use Service Name Picons...

3) Chabs has this SkyQ. I have the other Sly version.
4) Are you reading this stickies in this skin section
5) Are you reading the first post of these threads. (we don't spend ages writing our first post instructions for nothing.)

Hi guys,

Just a quick question, how can i change the Infobar layout to look like the one shown by Chabs on Post 1.
At the moment i see the picon as the default SKYQ logo and not the channel picns.

I have picon's added as per the instruction on the /hdd/picon folder, is there a setting i can use to get this to work?

I haven't downloaded the SkyQ Preview Channel Picons, do i need these as well to make this work?
If i do, can i just add them to this folder \hdd\SkyQ\picon ??

Hi Chabs

Is there anyway to make the skin autofit the screen! I set my boxes up on a Samsung tv like urself an as soon as I plug them in to a different tv you have to use the overscan wizard! I run OpenPli 4 with the SkyQ skin on a vu solo 2 with a Samsung tv which I can switch straight over to a 92" projector, same happens, picture auto sets but the skin is out of sync

You need the SkyQ preview pngs as well...

Hi mate

The skin is 1280 × 720 as standard. It should fit most screens but sum tv manufacturers like samsung have overscan in their hd tv resolutions that is why its hard to view the whole screen without adjusting the aspect ratio...its not the skin...

How did you manage this, I'm on openvix & can get picon a on my sky q skin but can not get rid of the avengers image pls point me in the right direction
 
Hi,

Just wanted to post an update from POST #1656, i have uploaded the new skin.xml that P17blo has attached and this works perfectly.
My box was crashing a few times a day after watching recordings or just simply changing channels. This has not occured since i updated the skin.xml file ~ more than 24 hours stable now

Really appreciate the fix and hard work the developrs put into sorting these issues out !!

Thanks p17blo as well for adding the file so the rest of us can fix the issue easily and quickly.

For anyone else who needs address any problems with the zgemma crashing:

Download the skin.xml file from the post #1656 on page 83 and then copy and replace the file in this directory:

/usr/share/enigma2/SkyQ

Been a member for over 1 year but cant download anything from tech kings? Pretty sure i`m verified and that I have posted in the past. Anyoneknow of an external link for the new Sky Q skin?
