Yes extracted. Set skyq skin and rebooted GUI. But it's only showing the default Q picon (prev.png) for all channels.

It is anything to do with Autobouquets E2 plugin?

Went to plugins > autobouquets E2 > menu. Changed show channel numbers to NO. Then did new scan. Rebooted Gui.

Evening,

Just wondered if it was possible to turn off the channel number in the below screen, it's not showing on the EPG.. just the info screen.

Hey fella, yep it would be but I don't intend doing much more... I've skinned a few things in the past and before you know it they've taken over your life.... I'm sure you know what I mean ;). Endless hours of restarting .. moving one pixel and restarting again.. I don't want to fall into that trap, plus I doubt I could make anything as elegant as this or your skin..

I've just tried this. Extracted picon fully and FTPd to usr/share/Enigma2/SkyQ

Went into AutoBouquets E2/menu/add Ch. number to name and set to no

Ran a full NIT scan in AutoBoquets E2 and get this with a lot of 401 errors

Restarted GUI and still only have the SkyQ image instead of the channel icon.

Any ideas???

Installed this skin last night on OpenVIX and it looks really good. The only problem I have is that the bottom is chopped off on some of the screens like the image is too big.

You need to adjust your tv aspect ratio. Use your tv remote to do this. Just change it to fit screen or just scan.

I have ordered a new hdd. Waiting for it 2 be delivered then will try recover the old one that has the updated SkyQ folder...

Should be smtyms next week mate...

Hi Chabs,

Why can't the SkyQ Preview Channel Picons work with the autoBouquet E2 channel numbers? I know its a personal preference but I like the channel numbers within the EPG...It seems strange to have to turn them off to get the Picons to work??

Why is that can it be fixed in a future version?? or is there another way round it...

Hi mate

There is a way for the preview pngs to work with E2 Auto

Remove your normal picon folder. Keep it safe in your pc or laptop.

Move the Sky Preview png picon folder folder to /hdd or usb

Then in the E2 Autobouquet menu select link picons option. Scan the E2 and this should rename all the SkyQ preview pngs with the channel number.

Then move back the SkyQ preview png picon folder from /hdd or usb back to SkyQ folder.

And get your normal picons back to /hdd or /usb

Great work really appreciate the effort which went into this.
I have one question I have installed and everything looks and feels great the only difference to your screenshots are the Red,Green,Yellow and Blue button options . Where as on your screenshot on the EPG it says Options, Planner, -24 and +24. Mine still has the default options of IMDB, Add timer, EPG Search and A/Timer. Any advice is appreciated Im still learning this and cannot thank all you guys enough for your time and patience in dealing with us less experienced members.

You need a customise epgselection.py to display those menus...

There are instructions on how to do that in kiddac's Slyk HD thread...
