Hi Chabs,

I'm using vix and i have just noticed I have text missing from some of the panels - for example Plugin Browser has the red and green buttons at the bottom but is missing the "Remove plugins" and "Download" text. Timer Overview panel has the Add text on the green button whilst the red yellow and blue buttons have no text. If this is a vix specific issue can you point me in the right direction to fix myself.

I may even consider a move to Open Pli

Are you using v1.3? I did fix the issue with the colour button text. The skin is based on Pli but works excellent with ATV as I dont use Vix at all...

I am testing up V1.4 wait for it and see if these issues have been fixed. Will try upload it later today if I get time as you know its bank holiday and kids are at home...

Hi chabs,
After I have downloaded the picons when I connect via ftp which eventname.pyo is it that I delete I deleted on last night and lost everything on the menu... I can't seem to get the channel picons on at all

You dont have to delete the .pyo and py files anymo as I have included modified SkyQ converters and renderes.

What image are using? You will need to find the EventName.py for your image to put it back.

Installation instructions are on post #1. If you having any issues send me a pm later today and I will try sort it out for you through teamviewer...

You need to change your autobuequet maker or E2 Autobouquet settings to your area. Make it Wales Custome instead or Central Midlands..

Instructions on that are on #1. Download the SkyQ Preview.rar file and extract the folder named picon

Ftp the whole folder to

usr/share/enigma2/SkyQ folder

Then you have your Channel Previews...

Yeah...I know...was gona have a beach picnic at Western Super Mere but my lil ones have had a tummy bug since Fri so will just be indoors...

I had a whole load of problems swapping between vix and Openatv with shall I use crossepg or xmltv import that I decided to reformat the HDD and start from scratch with KiddaC barebones install of openatv and then adding the skyQ skin at the end and now things are so much better even crossepg works well with Openatv 5.3 the EPG loads quicker (not quick enough just quicker!) The wife has suggested I leave it alone now, one bit of advise to any newbies is read, then read some more then read some more the info is out there!

With Enigma boxes you either dont fix or change anything if its not broken or prepare to keep crashing your box but either way, I always advice people to make a back up of their image before doing anything...

Please can you confirm to me if the colour button text is displaying well in Plugin Browser Screens, Timer Screens & Auto Timer Screens please..

The Red, Green, Yellow & Blue buttons and the texts.

Good advice Chabs and that is exactly what I have done, at least I can now experiment (when she is tucked up in bed) and have things restored by the morning!

I'm using vix on a Vu plus duo 2 with your skyq 1.3 and the colour button text does not show on the plugin browser.

nope just a red and green icon other two not therr and no text

scumnsee backup of openvix

please support this its an excellent skin and found it highly stable so far excellent work!

What image are you using and is it SkyQ V1.3? Please post screenshot. Check plugin browser and timers and autotimers screens...
