anyone explain how to get the box to boot up properly installed the newest skyq skin over the old one now the box is stuck on the boot logo wont go any further . can ftp to the box but thats it . really dont want to have to do a full install again took long enough to get it sorted(hybrid zgemma) with the epg ect working properly. arrgh wished id not started at midnight ,been messing now for 2 hours and still stuck
 
Ftp usr/share/enigma2 delete the skq folder and box should load default skin if not power off and boot up.

Once done goto plugins red to remove plugins go to skins uninstall skyq and try to reinstall

done that lol no go . any other ideas my friend

got to be a bad usb drive just backed up the image from the other box .gone to put on the corrupt one no joy but now the other box is crashing too with loads of errors of files not found in d: and e: directories cant access that one at moment as im busy looking for the hammer .what a pia they are mreans spending all day reflashing images to both boxes
wouldnt mind so much if these h2.h boxes didnt want to be so picky with the epg ,as cross epg never bloody works .

Have this set up when press FAV (2nd image) but have for the last couple of days been searching through pages and pages of this feed to get it looking like 1st picture please help doing me head in now

You've got no idea how much I've struggled with Picons and Skins, was too embarrassed to say so anywhere else - got this working first time I tried! Cheers!

Mine looks worse than that .just shows epg for the channel your viewing for the rest of the day. And background is blank except for the sky logo in the top corner
 
Thanks for reply. In the TV Guide Bouquet Selection, how do I stop the yellow folders form showing at the right hand side. Example Enertainment, Movies etc, like in SkyQ Skin V1.7

Just wondering should the images on the menu change, and if so how often? I set the scripts up in the cron timers and are both running but haven't seen any change since i added this skin a few weeks ago.
 
Hey guys, hope all are well. I have a question, I have iPab skin skyQ, can you change the pictures in epg yourself, Or is it a full skin pic? Also I've changed the boot screen image and created my own to my liking, but iwhen it first boots from gui it still has ipab whilst on 'boot' then once it hits number 11 on the box my image comes on... anyway to change the first 'boot' image, stays on for 10 seconds or so, I'm using zgemma 2s. Thanks

The 1st image is called a splash screen...you need to create a splash.bn file of your choice and flash it with your image...
