By the way, have you got anything which shows how to add Nagravision keys or Softcam keys please? I can't get TV Globo on hotbird to work, for example.

I followed the instructions to the letter but all the files in the folder failed to load. Every time I tried, it said: "Softcam Key Load Fail"
Any idea please?

I do have a c line which I bought recently and it does have the TV Globo keys in it but it's not opening it.
I could be wrong but I think that this receiver may not support Nagravision. I even tried various softcam keys but it keeps saying "Load Fail" every time.
In addition, I read from another thread that this Skybox F6 is a clone. The last original box was the F5s.
So maybe this is the reason why there isn't much support for it or any latest updated firmware. For example, the Youtube does not work, it reboots the receiver whenever you select anything and I cannot find any fix for it.
I'm stuck and I wish I had known it was a clone before I bought it.

One thing for sure, I'd love to know to which clone this receiver is. It would help me use a fix for the Youtube...

As people say they cant find this post, i copied it and made a new post

To check if its a clone you only need to look at the remote control.

An original should have on the back a gold coloured QC sticker. (these can get peeled off)

Also remove the battery cover and at the top of the opening it should have the word SKYBOX molded on to the plastic. (some now say CE)

Network Local Setting - 6666 should access another menu ( the camds setup)

A lot of people will not be able to do the null repair (load) as it it turned off as default! so turn it on in the hidden menu

Well...

1. The remote does have the Gold QC Sticker at the back
2. The back of the batteries cover has "ABS XYX-878" moulded onto it but not the "Skybox" word
3. 2778 opens up the "Access Control" which houses all the cams (cccam, mgcam...and so on)

Can you confirm that it is indeed a clone at all?

The F6 is a cloned version of the openbox X5 hope it helps

Thank you for the info, Tich mate. I think I'm going to install the Openbox X5 Firmware and see if it fixes the Youtube cause it's not working at the moment on my Skybox F6

I've checked my box, all corners, sides and faces of the box and nowhere I could find the "picture". I am now convinced that my Skybox F6 is a "genuine" clone.

Lucky me !!! LOL
