BT/EE/Plusnet.

Does it do everything you need? I am surprised something so cheap can perform so well!
They are £99.99 on amazon currently new, I brought it as I don't like the awful routers you get with service providers, and via the app as I always change when my contract is up I change the login details and its all done, no swapping wifi usernames and passwords etc. I'm really happy with it, links well with my TP link booster on my landing as I struggle for signal in the one bedroom, also my parents and a friend use this router as the stock one they had with Vodafone was giving them issues with Microsoft teams and their Amazon 4K firestick, I'm sure there are far better routers out there but for my needs its superb

I've been looking around and keeping thinking that the ones I'm looking at are overkill for my requirements but want to grab something that will last a few years.

I'd class it as an investment personally, if you spend £100 odd on one then over the many years it will last you for it will be peanuts over the time you have it, and it will blow the socks off any of the supplied ISP routers

asus rt-ax86u pro. £215
tp-link archer axe75. £140

These are the 2 I've been looking at, just from reading around.

I honestly wouldn't know what's best mate, sorry. I just normally read around and see what others are recommending.
Hopefully someone will be in to let you know.

Installed yesterday. 500 over WiFi in the same room as the hub, 300-450 everywhere else in the house. The only problem is the doorbell has a weak signal. Had the same problem with Virgin fixed with one of their boosters.

If you have a duel signal router. Try setting to 5ghz. I changed mine from 2.4 and have perfect signal all over the house. Just have one older samsung tv that doesn't pick up 5ghz,but run a stick on that one, so all good. Paul

So just switch 2.4ghz off altogether?

Well that's wot I did, and found better results. Make sure all your appliances will run off 5ghz.All but one tv works great here, that won't pick up 5ghz. But rest does, even outside cameras faultless.... Paul
Mines the red one
