Scripts and Guide for setting up OpenVPN with Most VPN,s on Enigma2

@dsayers2014 , fancy checking out FastestVPN , if I send you account details.
I do have it working via vpn manager but one server connects but does not show any info and when I go into internet speed test to check server it fails the serve config file is called uk-stream-udp.ovpn.

It was offer going at the time FastestVPN: Lifetime Subscription (5 Devices) $23.99 so I thought I would give it a shot
 
Do they host the config files that can be downloaded without login? I could. If not someone would have to generate generic configs for me to add to GitHub.

these were wotking links but for some reason at the moment browser is not downloading the zip file but displaying it on browser unpacked in raw format

link one link2 also enigma2 setup Link but that is not needed with vpn manager.

here are config files in case you cannot download them>

On the box create a folder called vpn in hdd

Now FTP your config files to hdd/vpn

You can now create a file called pass.file

Add your username and paasword in the pass.file one under the other so it looks like

USERNAME
PASSWORD

Send pass.file to hdd/vpn

Install VPN Manager and reboot box then menu, plugins, VPN Manager.

Press menu then set all configs in one folder yes and storage location for config files should be hdd/vpn exit. You should now be able to choose a vpn country

This should work with most VPN,s

do you have any folder or file so I can just copy to make easy I have tried to crest a file but doesn’t work, the folder is ok

no it would not work cyberghostvpn is not even listed as working in vpn config import.

And I had replied in vpn config import section. do your homework no one else can download cyberghost open vpn config files you need to do it manually through your account.

Get a VPN that is known to work.

Better still, get an IPTV provider that doesn't need a VPN, probably easier and cheaper

Most I have tried do work on enigma2 devices sometimes google dns servers are needed and different username ans pasword not your normal as in to log into web account.
But in saying that I have lifetime subscription for Ivacy and can never connect to UK servers :ROFLMAO: and yes they have sent me different config files .

Setting Google DNS in nameserver settings doesn't work for me, once the VPN is started up the DNS changes

yes obviously google dns servers change but I for virmin most cannot even use vpn without them or cloudflaire just going from info posted here by dsayers

Problem 1,
When enabling OpenVPN I lose internet connection.
Possible Solution
Goto your network settings on box and change DHPC to no then blue button to Edit DNS
Try Google DNS
Nameserver 1 8.8.8.8
Nameserver2 8.8.4.4
 
Good evening, does VPN Manager work on PLI 8.3? I have a Zgemma H7
I set up OpenVPN and checked with ipchecker and it works fine, I have installed VPN Config Changer but I am not happy with it, I think VPN Manager is better but not sure if it works and how to set it up on PLI 8.3
Any input/help/advice much appreciated

I have found that VPN Manager doesn't work with OpenPli. I've only tried PureVPN VPN Manager loads onto the box OK, but the config files will not go into the hdd/PureVPN2/ folder. Tried my fallback helper, who's a wiz at this, alas couldn't help
