Does anyone have any knowledge about getting Readly subscription cheaper?

Someone offered me a year quite some time ago, I didn't need it then, but could do with it now.

I tried lots of different countries (with VPN and local iTunes accounts), but the price was always the same (some were Euro, some dollars, some UK pounds), but always basically the same price. Maybe someone else has had some luck. There are a few 1 or 2 month 'free' offers out there if you just need it for short-term.
Readly hiked its prices again a few weeks ago, so I cancelled... and as i was going through the various cancellation screens, and they suddenly offered me 30% off for 6 months. That's the best i've got (but probably because i've been a long time subscriber (it's more for the family who use it).

Our local library (Lancashire ) has free access to the online pressreader app which has newspapers and magazines available from all countries worldwide
All you need is a library account to get free access to the app
Not sure if other UK libraries have this service but I haven't bought a newspaper or magazine since I have had the app
Works when abroad as well with access to internet

Can you use Libby or overdrive for free access to magazines
I've dug out my old library card and started searching, turns out the have both my daily paper of choice, and the few magazines I read.

Thanks a million for this suggestion, I'll play around and see what I can find and how best to read them(app/browser, etc.)

No worries, I use the libby app for audiobooks. I used to download magazines and view on an app on my iPad. Not sure if it was called rb digital or something else but worked great a few years ago
