Honestly don't get the need for netflix anymore, it's over priced very rarely updated with new shows and when it is, people binge the shows in a day. With a half decent plex or iptv server it'll do the same thing

You are correct. But with other apps you don't need to be reliant on a provider updating.

But agree wouldn't pay for amazon or netflix etc anymore. The only thing I pay for is my spotify

With a good provider they can set a series to auto download as soon as available, saves the hassle of being manually added by provider every day
Think I pay 20quid a year for my Spotify to be a part of a family plan

With a RD account or similar.
You can’t go wrong but a good VOD from a good supplier is good to fall back on if RD or similar goes down which is rare.
I also have a cheap Spotify account $12 for six months.

That only works if they have actually added the tv show. But even iptv supplier content and plex content is probably still better than a Netflix account.

You could also argue people want a awful lot for there £50 or £60 a year but that's a different topic
