EPL 380 Games 1080 50fps via K+ Vietnam

thanks again for sharing this. it worked great yesterday during the Arsenal vs City game. is there an apk available for firestick?
Your best bet is using Google to search for the android tv app and then trying to sideload that on to the firestick via downloader etc ...let us know how u get on.

I'm in the UK. I use Nord VPN. How does this service compare to Peacock USA picture quality ?
This is 1080/50 where as Peacock is 1080/60 so a better fps rate ...but in comparison this shows all 380 EPL games and Peacock 175 so I guess for sake of 10fps loss your getting all the games ...decision, decisions 😂

So does the app sideload on to all fire tv device and work ok
I would suggest trying not sure if anyone had confirmed on thread already but there is a android tv app as I have it on shield from Google playstore which suggests that can be sideloaded and should work but wont know until u try

Just to correct a misconception here - Peacock at 60fps is not '10fps better' than K+ at 50fps, rather you want your stream's frame rate to match the original frame rate as closely as possible. So if you are mostly watching UK content, you want your service to be 50fps. If you are mostly watching American content you will want 60fps. The cameras in the stadium are running at 50fps, so you aren't getting actual extra frames by watching the match on Peacock. In fact converting from a UK source to 60fps will reduce the quality because it is having to interpolate frames and this will introduce motion artifacts. Having said that the difference is pretty hard to spot - I am happy enough watching the Peacock streams and don't find it particularly distracting that it is using the 'wrong' frame rate. But if you have a choice between 50fps and 60fps of the same quality, you want to choose 50fps for the footy.

As far as K+ I am in the process of signing up to check out what the quality is like, so thank you for the sign up guide, very useful, and fingers crossed the quality is decent, it looks like great value if all is good.

A bit of topic but one thing I like about Tivimate it doubles the refresh rate when watching content, which makes the image even smoother.

Got this working eventually. A few notes:

- There is a Fire TV version of the app available from Aptoide that I am using to watch on Firestick but this app does not provide an option to sign up.
- For initial sign up I had to dust off an old Android tablet and download the app from the store.
- When using Nord VPN the sign up kept failing at the final step where you put your email address in. Switching to Surfshark fixed this.
- Payment via credit card prompts for an account name, but it kept rejecting my full name. Eventually it accepted First Initial + Surname. I used Revolut virtual card.

The quality is not wonderful, but pretty acceptable for the price. A good backup option I reckon. Quality is better than Vidio Indonesia (my previous cheap backup option) but not as good as Peacock. The bitrate seems quite low leading to some compression artifacts which are going to be noticeable on larger TVs But perfectly watchable if you aren't too fussy about quality. My Firestick was set to 50fps initially but this was very jerky and hard to watch. Switching to 60fps made it a lot smoother so I suspect this is not actually 50fps.

This post has literally reactivated my account .

Not been in here for a while, just followed the guide and it's fantastic.

Thanks so much.

K+ in Vietnam and TrueID (Thailand) is a very good option for EPL with cheaper price since they have dual languages (Vietnamese / Thai and English)

It looks like half the Premier League games that are showing don't have English commentary, despite have the facility to have it on the android TV, a real shame as it's a very good service I guess I will have to go back to Sooka or peacock

Noticed this myself yesterday. Shame.
