Need a new lnb

What did you do it may help others? And I'm curious as why you dont use a quad lnb? Is Goldmaster a good box and what is the version?

Only got the Goldmaster to try it as a signal checker, RAMF app is decent with the reports but it's all Greek to me , as long as my dB readings are 15+. It helped me realign my dish.
I was trying out various Lnb's just happened to be a twin.

Followed cokeaddict advice and set receiver to usuals positioner ,

so thought I'd get the quad version

Im gettiing rusty now but from memory it used to be called quatro lnb and basically it means you get the 4 polarities but on separate feeds 2 x v and 2 x H in essence the multisuwtch selects the correct polarity but if you were to connect it to a receiver then the 2 ouputs you selected would only cover 2 frequency ranges. like 950-1050v and 950-1050H and as the box can only send V or H voltage you only get channels on those frequencies.

Send it back and get the normal quad one.

Nope not found it , must have been a glitch on the website, as item no available when I tried to pay. Searched website again and only the quattro.

The inverto black ultra quad is my favourite but as with everything may be hard to find and not cheap. this looks like it

but remember sats are much stronger now and this one gets good reports as well and it looks as if it is still available

Gm 202+ is the one I have now ,

Had email from red apple about my basket , check and it was still there , but after paying says editing fulfillment, so probably not getting it.

But at £30- £40 quid think I'll stick with the twin

I assume I can only watch on the satellite the GT media is positioned on.

Lnb installed working fine. As stated I'm I restricted to using the GT as the receiver that controls the motor. Thus only watching on the sat the GT is positioned on.
Never used diseqc switch , are these only used with another dish or more than one lnb .

Usually used to send multiple LNBs or dishes to one tuner on one sat box.

Yes mate 2 dishes into one tuner, running a motor and a fixed through a diseqc switch can be tricky but ive managed it in the past with uncommitted switches.

These days i just have 2 motorized dishes with Unicable LNB's. I can run multiple boxes on one lnb feed and splitters to feed each receiver

Btw never new I could setup my LG G2 sat tuner to run a motor or diseqc. Learnt something new. Obviously fta channels but
