Music SD card

Why not just use YouTube downloader and SoundCloud downloader even torrent sites via vpn

Why does it have to be on a SD card?
How often are you likely to change ringtones?
Your phone must have capacity for a thousand songs

My SD card that I did have in my phone became badly corrupted so it had to go and that had all my songs and albums lost tons of music
