Help needed SD Card "important"

Sorry for putting this in general chat but
My daughter has a dashcam 32gb SD card in it on continuous recording. So she's driving home on a 2 lane one way late last night and she's about 2-3 cars in front when some guy stepped out got hit/run over and apparently he's not too clever.
My daughter just went around it as it happened that quick not out of ignorance but just fast moving traffic it just happened in the blink of an eye.

From what she's read on social media they've done a runner and Police are calling for witnesses evidence dashcam etc.
My daughter isn't sure if her camera picked it up as she was coming round the bend at the time and her car might have been slightly facing away from the incident.

So first thing this morning I've put the SD card from her dashcam into the pc in a usb caddie stick and its showing DCIM folder as empty but the stick says
574mb free from 29.7GB
There's also a temp0.index file zero bytes.

I've tried a few stick caddies and diff usb sockets but no joy.

I'm just trying EaseUS deep recovery but is there anything I should try to locate the hidden files because my computers saying there's stuff on it.

Any help welcome, I mean it might not have it in it but worth a go

The files might just be marked as hidden. To view hidden files (Windows): Open File Explorer, go to the "View" tab, and check "Hidden items."

The file system on the SD card may have errors. You can check and fix these (Windows). Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following command:
cmd > chkdsk X: /f

Replace X with the drive letter of your SD card.

If possible, try reading the SD directly in the dashcam. Some dashcams use file systems that aren't easily read by certain computers or apps.

I have a NextBase dash camera and I find the easiest way is to use the software supplied by the camera manufacturer to access video files on my SD card.
You can usually download the software for different dash cam manufacturers from their websites.
I read the data directly from the SD card with it still inside the camera and plugged into my PC

I did try hidden files it didn't work. I've put a new SD card in her dashcam so I can work on this.
Once EaseUS has finished I'll try chkdsk forgot about that but, isn't cmd > chkdsk X: /f (f =format ?) is it not cmd > chkdsk X: /r ?

I haven’t had to look at any footage recently but do remember I couldn’t access the files with the sd card plugged directly into my pc but with the camera plugged in with the supplied usb cable it was straight forward and easy to drag drop files to the pc using the NextBase software.

I managed to recover 40gb but there a mish mash of files most not playing back even though their .avi.
I used VLC to repair the index on a couple so far but Wondershare Repairit repaired a few more last night by using a working clip to repair the knackered ones.

Those I have managed to play back freeze or skip or green screen.
Does anyone have a good cracked avi repair program I can give a go ?.
So the tale goes my daughter didnt drive past (wife got it wrong) she pulled up 2 cars behind. The driver who hit the guy drove off.
Seems like the guys in a bad way as well.

No one got his reg ...crazy

Sounds like maybe issues with sd card.
I use high endurance cards and format it regularly.
Hopefully you can get the reg from the files or there is decent CCTV in the area.
You also get witnesses that don’t want to be involved and don’t share info.

The program Ive used in the past with alot of success is Wondershare Repairit. I have tried a couple of versions cracked .exe but it still says "Activate". I use to have it but I wiped since. Without activating it I can only preview 30 seconds of the repaired file and I cant save the 300-400mb files to check what's at the end because, if she has captured it its going to be at the end before she turns the car off.

If anyone does have a cracked "tested" working cracked version of this can you wing it me over please, thank you

Have tried playing the recording with sd card in the camera?

yeah it doesn't play anything back it doesn't see the files. I tried the SD in my dashcam which is identical. I think its become corrupt because the power to it was slightly loose so on/off/corrupt. Like I said I've recovered alot of files but cant save the repaired files and playback because Ive not got SW
