Movie Organisor plugin - organise your series recordings into folders

I'm running version 3.9 on atv 7.2 on my box so not tested on anything higher but should be no reason for it not to work.

what do your error logs say?

version 3.9 works with openatv 7.3 i already mentioned that you need to make a folder with name of series first then run movie organisor.

It used to make it's own folders...that's what I'm after.

Not sure now, I have deleted it....although movie organiser was mentioned.
I think it may be clashing with my Onyx skin which is from Kiddac. Could that be it?
I have a new box coming and will do a clean install of 7.3 or latest and then your plugin...see how that goes. Then I will add the skin and see if it crashes.

New Octagon Supreme, 7.4 Beta, added the organiser plugin, box crashes. Remove the plugin, all is fine...

Could not get this to run on my Octagon using 7.3 Openatv so I went back to the latest Enhanced Movie Centre and that does put all your series recordings into their own series folder, automatically and you can tweak the settings as well.

Solved you say but you can not use Movie Planner mod i thought you really wanted to use, you need to disable EMC i thought whole point was to use Movie Planner mod to go with skin.

solved for me, yes. It crashes my box, maybe it's the box, Octagon 4K, the image, 7.3 or 7.4, the skin, Onyx by KiddaC, (EMC deleted), any combination of those things or the plugin itself and even if I get it to work you have to name your own series folders.
I had to give up and go back to EMC which works ok with my set up and creates it's own series folders when you record 2 or more episodes.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to those involved in this plugin and keeping it updated etc. I've using OpenViX 6.6.003 on my Zgemma H7s with the latest 3.9 version listed on page 1 of this forum. Copied it via FTP to the /tmp folder as instructed and installed the plugin. Rebooted the interface and it's working a treat!

It was known to be working on openatv 7.2, all openatv versions after 6.4 are based on python 3, so it should work

I bought an h2s in 2018 and an h9twin in 2020. They have both worked well so I never needed to update them or delve into their detailed operation. However the other day during some very windy weather and on/off mains power the USB on my h9twin got corrupted. I thought I would tidy my plugins and deleted movie organiser not realising it was filing repeat recordings under the same folder. I kept getting the

“Some plugins are not available Extension/movie organiser (list index out of range)”​

and could not find the plugin listed any more.

I have now completed a full update but still cannot see any reference to the movie organiser plugin. Can someone please help me get it back on my H9twin?

Go to first post in this thread and download and install it again if you want it again and see if that sorts it out.

Thanks very much, grog68. I had to reset my password (via box menu) and use the opkg command It did not appear straight away but did after a reboot. Now my recordings are sorted. :-)
