Bit of an update,I got some ramps and could not push the car up them,Got a mobile mechanic come to put the sensor in and it started straight away,£80 for the sensor and fitting,he just got under it on the jack, absolute lunatic.

Glad you managed to get it sorted out and if you ever struggle to get up ramps again attach the car to another in front with a tow rope and gently pull it up lol

she got rid of her astra last week before i got the ramps and now has a peugeot 107,it crossed my mind but the peugeot would not pull the skin of a rice pudding.

Use next doors concrete fence post as an anchor point and get a very strong come along pulley
