HDMI to Phone?

Is it possible to connect a HDMI lead (via interface) to a phone, so that you can watch on the phone? :)

You could, some phones support it so you would need usb c to hdmi/mini hdmi. Better off with a portable monitor in that case.

Reason i ask is, there's usually someone in work asking me to give them a login for IPTV. It would be easier if i could connect their fire stick to my phone and use theirs as a wifi hotspot. :)

I think that's to connect the other way around, from phone to TV. :)

Why can't you just use the android app you were going to put on the firestick onto their phone

I need to put Tivimate on their stick along with a couple of XC/ Stalker MACS to see them ok for a little while lol

See if you can borrow one to try out. I do get motion sickness on some apps/ games, but there are plenty I'm ok with. (And almost all for free, at the moment ;)

I have looked into it, especially when the apple vision was launched and how the meta could do 90% of the stuff for a fraction of the cost but didn't bother. Trying to reduce my screen time and this won't help!

Sort of in between the 2 and 3. Think it's going to be around 2/3 hundred. :)

I got it working with a cheap capture device and this app. Haven't quite sussed the sound out yet, but i don't really need it. :)
