There is some speculation that as soon as a new Switch comes, the chances for a new Shield increases. I dunno. Would be great but since the Shield is still selling like hotcakes despite its age is there really the incentive for the a company like Nvidia to produce a new Shield?

Z11 pro max better for IPTV in my opinion

The switch and shield are the same thing I've heard inside...as in technology inside

They have the same SoC but different OS and the switch has more RAM
The new switch is rumoured to use one of Nvidia’s newer SoC’s

I am lucky to own both boxes but my shield purchase was originally for the upscaling when on HD channels even the SD looks better, the games side of it was a bonus because I like to try out various emulators.

Can you get the official Netflix on these boxes to stream 4K ?

It needs to running official Android tvOS or Google tvOS to be able to run Netflix in 4k.
The pro is running AOSP 11 so it doesn’t meet the criteria.

21203 - downloader.... If it gets an update it will stop working.. Simply go back to 21203 and update the app for it to get the update and continue to work.

The picture is my Homatics 4k R box, but the same applies to the formuler.

Homatics has android 14 now... Picture quality for streaming is better than my shield..

Homatics has android 14 now... Picture quality for streaming is better than my shield..

What the difference between the downloader version and the version from the playstore?
