Nine's Stan likely to score English Premier League rights from Optus

Yup I’ve been keeping an eye on that. Some talk that Stan are also bidding for the f1 rights. Would be a great option if they just combine EPL and UCL.

Yes plenty of sport in one place ...may do a 4k EPL option ..they do for some sports currently. Prob be more expensive tho

If only they would carve out sport as a standalone offering. I wouldn’t use the non-sport offering, but you’re forced to pay for the basic version of it.

While we’re discussing hypotheticals: With ESPN launching their DTC streaming service in the US, I wonder if NBC will feel brave enough to stick all EPL games on Peacock next season (and finally do 4k).

JAS Wins New English Premier League Rights, True Visions Steps Aside

True visions was a sky type deal where you had to take a basic package and box and add sports I think 🤔 so might be interesting now.

It would be interesting to see how they distribute there free to air offering they mention. Hopefully English Comms is an option.
