That will give you separate bouquets if you do a software update then goto Dsayers CustomMix Importer on Import press right and change to Dsayers: Sky UK free to air channels into Virgin Media UK then Enable Autofetch to yes and press yellow to fetch file then green to save.

Goto ABM providers change Sky UK FTA only yes then virgin UK generate sections bouquets yes then green to save. Now goto providers order and press blue to move sat_282_sky_uk down green to save.

Now rescan ABM this will add Sky FTA channels to Virgin Media line up







If you are happy with that setup then in ABM providers change Sky UK generate main bouquet and selection bouquets to no green to save then start scan.

Yea thats an older image you will need to reflash or if you just want two sets of bouquets ftp usr/script and delete the customupdater.sh
Then ftp usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/autobouquetmaker/custom and delete the sat_282_sky_uk_custommix.xml

Also change Sky your area custom instead of hd and FTA only yes green to save then providers order Virgin on top
 
Hi dsayers, I’ve updated to your latest version & all is great but I’m having playback recording issues. Every time I play a recording it stutters, pixilates & freezes. This didn’t happen while on your previous backup version as they played ok, it’s only happened since updating to your latest backup. Do you know why this is happening please? Cheers

No is this recording iptv? if so are you recording and watching another ipyv stream at the same time? if you are the box or server may not be able to cope with two IPTV streams at the same time, possibly try swap file if not already used.

Hi mate, no it’s not IPTV, just normal sly or vm channels. It does the same with already stored recordings that I have which played fine on your last image. When I installed your current image I just plugged in my current hard drive that I used from previous image as I had recordings on it so I skipped the initialisation part of the guide.

Hmmm I've got 142 and it asked me 'your image is out of date!'

I think I did this the other day and it over wrote the firmware and took me back to standard ATV... it never used to do that?

There has been lots of changes on ATV software lately and it looks like depending on when you last did a software update it flashes new, im not too sure as I updated fine last week, ill try and do an new backup next week.

I'm using the latest files from your download... Weird I'll try another update again and see if it kicks your image off tomorrow.
 
Hi Dsayers

I got your latest image on friday and flashed my box but having read this thread start to finish I found that their were some big changes that have been implemented since the image was last made, as a new comer I was looking for a way to maximize my use of the box and channels on a v line only set up and you have now implemented something that works well Thanks
Maybe as part of your how to set up guild you could add a bit that says now do a full system update like this ... and then say now go check the front page of this topic for information on any update since the last image , that way reducing the need to keep making backup images so regularly

I have a question which I'm confused about.
Can someone tell me the simple and straight forward options to select in tuner configuration -> providers to have the sky bouquets but with the dark channels replaced with virgin please. I've looked at the 1st post and a few others dotted around and they're really confusing.

Tuners are already setup by default with the custommix setup

You may want to go down and change sky uk channel swap to no if you don’t have bbc1hd and ITV hd versions in your area
Then virgin(uk): area change 41064 York(ff Leeds) to your net id

Guys, I have a Plex server, how do I get this added to the image - what's the best plug to use? Any guides etc?

Checking it out I think it's DreamPlex, any guides on how to add the server etc?
