Changed satellite channels

Cons80

Newbie
Hi all sorry for my ignorance now. I’ve lost loads of channels on both my amiko and zgemma h7s. Is there anyway to quickly download all changes or must it be all done manually

By lost, do you mean they no longer work because of the transponder changes? If that is what you mean, options are:

1. Use plugins like ABM or AB 28.2 to update your channels and bouquets.
2. Ensure you have an updated satellites.xml file, restart, scan then update your bouquets as required.

Thanks I’ll try that on zgemma later or another day soon.
I just done the amiko box with a blind scan and arrange all the channels again. Few hours work 😀 but at least done

What do you mean by no.2 is that easy enough. I have got my zgemma connected direct to my internet so hopefully won’t be a problem.

You have not said which image and version/date your receiver has. Unless it has correctly working blindscan, it will use the XML file to scan the satellite. If your XML file does not have updated entries, your receiver will check the outdated transponder details.

Satellite scanning does not use an internet connection.

I must check out when home. Thanks

I’m using open box-6.4.011.release-zgemma7_multi.zip

Blue > Vix > Image manager > Download > Select the latest Vix image
Once downloaded, ensure it is highlighted then flash it

After it reboots, say yes to restoring settings, yes to plugins too

After it restarts, run AutoBouquetsMaker

Sorted thanks again Abu. I spotted on my old thread you were very helpful to. It’s really appreciated. I’m gonna try learn more now about other options and uses for box. Could you suggest something or another thread please
