Downloaded this firmware, epg update worked straight away. YouTube working well, noticed that you dont need to install a blank config file like other firmwares for your line, must be built in to the firmware itself. Passworded youporn and to lock channels is 0000. If i notice any more changes ill let you know.

Yeah, its sometimes best to load the offical firmware first, then the patched version over it. I found it ironed out a lot of bugs on previous versions by doing this.

Just a word of warning, when you load this firmware update it blanks your c or n line config. I had to enter details manually to get it working again. Make sure you have a backup or know the details before you update.
the update itself looks good. Great improvement on the 7 day epg.

Both folders, (the one above and the one in the download section) have the same date GZ140412 12th April 14

Which was actually released in July, so it could be the same file.

Will load them both tomorrow and see if I can spot any differences.

I downloaded the latest epg over a wk ago as it was time to do so and now it only gives me now & next.
When I look at what's on using the FAV shortcut, it maybe only tells me a couple of shows that are on.
It's totally balls'd up my epg and doesn't correct itself when I do a fresh download

When they update the channel lists the EPG usually takes a few days more to settle down

are you sure it's picking up your usb hard drive sometimes it says it's connected but not actually reading it, try disconnecting it from the box then re-connect it then reboot the box until it says usb connected then try epg download again

When I go to system info on the box it says Sep 12 but seems to be no real difference, think it's an epg updating fix
