Which version of ViX 6.6 are you using? 001 or 002?

Which git number of ABM is installed? Go into the plugins, remove to see it.
 
Running Grogbuild/ATV 6.4. I've set the region to London/London and everything is ok at the moment. Just wondering if there is anything I can do as would like to be able to set my local region without the box crashing or coming up with errors. Thanks
 
The ABM reader won't compile for python 2 anymore. The people who made the changes said that they need logs, these were provided, but nothing has happened. Sorry

option 1. You could use Sky bouquet,s select FTA mode. You get more channels than Freesat anyway.
option 2. You could add a mix file to replace the channels if you still want the Freesat numbers.
 
@Abu Baniaz , don't know if you can help but i did post on pli rytec section.
I honestly do not know if this is rytec team problem or ABM but I do not get epg on these two channles Sky Atlantic and Sky Witness+1.untill i actually select and play them.


but Sky Witness does have epg and also Sky Atlantic+1 without having to select and play channels.

PS. using icam these are sd channels.
 
Dsayer posted what needs to be done for Rytec EPG not having those: Report it to the Rytec team on the PLI forum.

I'll do it for you.
 
I see that you have posted it already. Check the channels file. If the service reference is not included, report it to Doglover so he can add it or fix the grab.

Your EPG issue does not having anything to do with ABM. The service references is not included in the channel file that EPG importer uses. It therefore does not cross reference the EPG. When you select the channels, you are obtaining the now/next EIT (EPG) data from the stream.

i understand i am getting EIT now/next (epg) when I select channels but I do not need to select other channels to get epg just Sky Atlantic and Sky Witness+1 all other satellite channels epg are populated.
What channels file are you referring to that i need to check ?
 
Sorry, I don't know how else to rephrase it.

You use EPG Importer to obtain EPG.
Doglover did not have those references, so EPG for those two channels (in this case) did not get added.

When you zap/select the channels, you obtain the EIT now/next EPG.

He has added the references and the problem is solved on the next grab. A reboot of receiver will force a download on next run of EPG importer.

Whenever EPG importer does not obtain data, just say to doglover:
I am not getting EPG for channel name = xxx
Service reference = yyy

Any other claims/statements just add confusion and are irrelevant. There is no need to mention other channels either. All he needs is the name reference of channels that have no EPG or are wrong.

I can't remember the exact name/location of the file. Maybe "channels.xml" in "/etc/enigma2/epgimporter". Please search for it.
