did you ever get signal if old sky lnb it may not be compatible

Edit: just read your last post perhaps lnb is by its best they do eventually not work.
 
Just seen on another thread people are having similar issues. Mines was working fine until i disconnected to try a friend's box.
 
Something has changed on the tables. There have been no code changes to ABM since 09/03/2024. This is crashing on some regions and not others. I have tested Vix and ATV. For now, disable Freesat and use Sky and enable the FTA only option. Or if you still want to use Freesat, use BBC London/ITV London.
 
Would a software issue stop tuner b from receiving a signal. I am running grogbuild on atv 6.4.
I know grogbuild isnt supported anymore.

No it shouldn't. However, checking a dead transponder or configuring your tuner incorrectly, or f-plug becoming undone when testing someone else's box would.
 
Two commits made to ABM to work around the change in the SI tables. Should be fine in images created after the commits today.

People on older images will have to use a Freesat region that does not crash or wait for Freesat to change their tables again. The code reading that section has been in ABM since 2017.

Have setup willibuild today on vix 6.5 and getting crash on autobouqetsmaker when Northern ireland selected. Anything i can do to load bouqets
 
For the ABM crash can you try the attached zip file.

Extract the dvbscanner.pyc file and send it to use/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/scanner

Reboot your box then scan again.

Note this is only for python 3 images.

Is openvix 6.5 python3? Sorry dont no much about this.
 
For people not able to update image
Options:
1. Don't use Freesat, use Sky FTA

If using Freesat,
2. Use London Area.
3. Replace the fixed python file on receiver.

People on ATV 7.3/7,4 can uninstall then re-install ABM. It will get the latest ABM

Thanks for you input I have since flashed online with latest openatv 7.3 and 7.4 images and no problems now (y)
